REMOTE HOME CHECK
ALL-IN-ONE DEMENTIA CARETAKING
PROJECT OVERVIEW
I had the opportunity to work with a startup called Remote Home Check to help flesh out a UI for their prototype in order to secure investments outside the company. This started with creating an information architecture diagram and creating a functional prototype to navigate through on stage. The biggest consideration was making sure the app was intuitive for their target audience, people with dementia or mental disabilities and their caretakers. The app serves as an all-in-one stop for patient monitoring, testing, physician consultation, finances, and more.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
In order to make sure every aspect of the app and its services was included in the investor prototype, I started by creating an IA diagram showing each unique screen within the app and how they connected to each other. My client had laid out some of what they wanted to include, but they hadn't though of the actual way people will navigate through the app.

INVESTOR PROTOTYPE
The app concept was pitched at a few different investor conferences, where visitors were encouraged to click through the basic app structure and see how it works. You can check out the prototype here.
Note: Prototype is built in Figma, and will prompt users as such. Click on the image here to open, and the play button to try it out.
